Our History
It has long been a dream of Dr. Behrens to open her own practice. After many years of practicing in larger hospitals, she realized her passion for a more personalized, family oriented approach to veterinary health care. Her goal is to focus on wellness and disease prevention as well as providing state of the art veterinary care for all stages of a pet’s life. Dr. Behrens’ vision has become a reality. After years of research, hard work and the help of friends, family and wonderful clients, she opened the Animal Hospital at the Shores in spring of 2011.
